The 2022/23 Premier League is now just a matter of days away and kit releases are starting to come thick and fast.
The 20 clubs in England’s first division are showing off their threads for the new term with home, away, third, goalkeeper and even fourth kits pumped out by the likes of Adidas, Nike, Puma and more.
And with the interest in sporting fashion increasing year on year, football fans are starting to get more and more opinionated about the jerseys that their team wears with each passing season.
2022/23 kit releases
It’s a phenomenon that we are well and truly guilty of joining and we can no longer see a new kit hit our Twitter feeds without pausing, taking a closer look and casting our thoughts on whether we like it or not.
So it’s no wonder that we’re fans of the voting system over at Football Kit Archive where fans can make their feelings clear on historic, current and leaked jerseys by awarding it a rating from between one and five stars.
That, in turn, will be aggregated along with the votes of other supporters to give an overall score out of five that can be used to compare how loved or hated certain kits are in relation to one another.
Fans vote on the worst Premier League kits
Now, you probably get where we’re going with this because no doubt you’re as intrigued as we were to find out which 2022/23 Premier League jerseys are the most loved and maligned by those who will wear them on the terraces.
Or not, as the case might be for this particular article, because we’re going to walk you through the 10 Premier League kits that have either been leaked or released for the 2022/23 with the lowest fan scores of all.
From loud goalkeeper jerseys to lurid alternate strips, the people have spoken and the 10 designs that they consider to be the worst of the bunch go as follows:
9. Everton GK home
8. Everton away
7. Wolverhampton Wanderers home
6. Manchester City GK 1

Which kit is your least favourite?
If those taking their time out to rate football shirts are anything to by, then kit manufacturers can probably expect lower sales than usual when it comes to these unloved releases.
It’s certainly interesting that so many of the goalkeeper kits have been given the thumbs down, but clearly draping your number one in bright, bash colors doesn’t go down as well as with fans as it probably does with referees.
And even we’re starting to come round to the idea that Spurs’ away shirt might not be all its cracked up to be having initially been wooed by the purple, green and black combination.
However, there are a few jerseys still to hit the clothes rails before the big kick-off in early August with Fulham, for example, having bucked the trend by not releasing a single kit so far.
But you can rest assured that whenever those final designs are unveiled for the world to see that fans will be voting with their feet depending on whether it makes them run for the hills or run to the bank.
