Rihanna Glows in Rare Public Outing After Giving Birth to Son

Rihanna is back and as stylish as ever.

Though the Fenty Beauty mogul has rarely been seen since giving birth to her first child back in May, she ventured out in London recently to visit the “Mexican Geniuses” exhibition.

In a photo posted to the exhibition’s official Instagram account, Rihanna is seen smiling while posing on a bench in an all-black outfit. Her monochrome ensemble de ella, composed of a flowing black blouse with lace trim and black jeans with asymmetrical detailing, is accented with a long gold necklace and white sneakers.

“We found love in an artsy place ????,” the caption read. “Last night, @badgalriri visited @themexicangeniuses exhibition in #London and she met (virtually, at least) one of her idols of her, #FridaKahlo. We are SCREAMING INTERNALLY ????.”

Rihanna shares her son with longtime boyfriend A$AP Rocky.

In another recent, rare appearance made earlier this month, the “Love on the Brain” singer was spotted supporting Rocky during his set at Rolling Loud in Portugal. Photos snapped by fans show the multi-hyphenate showing out in another all-black fit: an oversized soccer jersey and matching track pants from Balenciaga’s collaboration with Adidas.

Rihanna talked about becoming a mother in a February interview with Entertainment Tonight. “It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it,” she said at the time.

While still pregnant with her child, Rihanna treated the world as her runway—elevating everyone’s perception of what maternity style can look like. Of her bold maternity outfits de ella, she told ET, “Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”
